I want to buy new sets of cookware (pans, dishes etc. ) but I dont want the non stick ones coz it has teflon coating and I dont want to use that. Other than this and stainless steel can anybody suggest other kinds to buy for this thanksgiving.

Thankyou before hand!
I am looking for the ware that is good for health and is not harmful like teflon.

Other than your aversion to teflon, there are some non stick pans out there like calphalon, and a few others that are not made fo teflon. All-clad is a good brand of pots and pans that do nto have teflon. Also check out Viking, Analon, and there are a number of makers of Ceramic and copper pots.

Le Creuset would be my choice.
They are expensive but so worth it! These pieces will last you a life time!

You can also use cast iron or porcelin coated cast iron sets. I like these because they hold and distribute heat very well.

Costco Kirkland sells a great S/S set $199 us They are handsome and have a nice thick base (minimizing burning) they do not include a 12 inch skillet and do not sell open stock . Emeril ware is similar in looks however..Check it out .

  5. Calphalon is the best… it’s not THE most expensive, but it’s not cheap either. It is heavy duty, has tight fitting lids, has a thick bottom that distributes heat evenly, won’t warp and can withstand high temps for searing and can go under the broiler. It’s heavy duty anodized aluminum can do anything you’ll ever need a pot or pan to do.

For the money, it’s the best there is … and it has a lifetime guarantee. They replaced 2 pans for me that were burned and warped from a house fire. They stand behind their products.
